Christmas Tree I Spy

Christmas Tree I Spy is our favorite after-dinner December game. It’s exactly what it sounds like — an I Spy game with Christmas tree ornaments.

Christmas Tree I Spy

Christmas Tree I Spy

You play the same way you play the traditional I Spy.

Get two or more people. One person spies an ornament for the others to find.

If it’s your turn to spy, you say:

I spy something ________________. ” (Insert description: something wooden and green.)

Players can only ask yes or no questions.

Take turns who goes next.

It’s as easy as that.

Have fun spying!

  1. What a fabulous idea! My three year old is obsessed with the Christmas tree and while I am trying to be more zen about him taking off all the decorations all the time, this might be a way of ‘playing’ with the tree without destroying it!! Thank you!

  2. What a simply and cool idea. Every year we get a unique ornament for the family that signifies our year together as well as a special ornament for each of our three children. This will be a fun way to revisit all of those special ornaments. And lots of great learning involved in I Spy games too!
