Christmas Tree I Spy is our favorite after-dinner December game. It’s exactly what it sounds like — an I Spy game with Christmas tree ornaments.
Play the same way you play the traditional I Spy.
Get two or more people and take turns spying an ornament.
If it’s your turn you say:
“I spy with my little eye, something ________________. ” (Insert description such as something wooden and green.)
Players can ask yes or no questions to try to guess the correct ornament.
We take turns who goes next.
Merry Christmas to those of you celebrating this holiday! Have fun spying!

Cool. Simple but cool
And kids love shiny things so that have to be fun for them!
What a neat idea! I think we’ll try that tonight.
Another great idea from Imagination Soup. Thanks for sharing!
you’re so nice – thanks, Jackie!
I knew I shouldn’t have done my tree all in red birds this year. Next year we will play!
Denice, it sounds beautiful!
Glad you like the idea – have tons of fun!
What a simply and cool idea. Every year we get a unique ornament for the family that signifies our year together as well as a special ornament for each of our three children. This will be a fun way to revisit all of those special ornaments. And lots of great learning involved in I Spy games too!
