I bought Bananagrams because of it’s a cute, yellow banana bag. Lucky for me, it turned out to be an easy, word-play game and worth the silly reason I bought it.
Bananagrams is like Scrabble but without the board and without taking turns. Each player makes his or her own words on the table or floor surface. The winner is the first one out of letter tiles. A player can get more tiles in a two different ways – buy “dumping” or “peeling”. See here for the directions.
Workman Publishing offers several books to accompany the Bananagram game. One is Banangrams for Kids. The most recent book is the 10-Minute Bananagrams! Both books are meant for one person so you can play and solve the puzzles anywhere you can bring the book.
