Today’s totally awesome word game is Blurt – a word game that will build vocabulary, make you think fast and provide hilarity. We love it and think you will too. Thumbs up we cheer. We highly recommend Blurt!
Blurt Word Game
One player reads the clue to the others. The other players try to blurt out the correct answer first. Whoever wins the blurt gets to move ahead on the game board.
Let’s practice. Here’s a clue: “A written message that is usually sent in an envelope by mail.”
And the answer is . . . LETTER.
Or how about “The result of mixing red and blue.”
Did you say . . . PURPLE?
The winner is the person who gets around the board the fastest.
Good for 3 – 12 players, ages seven and up. And, there are more than enough clues — 1800 clues at 2 playing levels.
WIN Blurt for yourself. Leave a comment below and you’ll be entered to win. (All winners are selected at random, U.S. and Canada only.) Deadline for entering the contest is November 7, 2010 midnight EST. For an extra entry, subscribe to Imagination Soup. If you are already a subscriber, just tell me that.
