Yes, this! I have been looking for a cookbook that will help me teach my kids how to cook. I'm a great cook, but sometimes it's hard to break it down for a beginner. I homeschool my kids and want to add an actual focused "cooking class" to our curriculum this next year (they will be in second grade.) They cook with me in the kitchen from time to time, but I also want a time when I'm not just trying to get dinner on the table and for them to take ownership of their meal from start to finish.

So many cookbooks for kids don't have photos or have cartoons of food, which seems absolutely dumb to me. Thanks for the recommendations, I'm going to check it out!
