Hi Melissa, A criticism of many Maths apps is that they are fun but not very productive. The benefit of this is that it may nurture a child's interest in numbers, which is awesome. But it does feel that we could do better. For productive learning, I highly recommend "Math Facts - Flash Cards", which is a free app. I'm also the author of an iOS app "12 Twelves", which uses puzzles to make practicing times tables (both multiplication and division) fun, while stripping back distractions for a productive experience. I wrote it for my daughter. I hope these suggestions are useful.

My daughter had a hard time learning the times table.
So I wrote an android application to assist her 🙂

Each exercise kids solve helps them to feed the cute panda.
You can get daily reminders to feed the panda (solve exercises) and kids get rewarded with trophies upon goals completion.

Using this application my daughter learned the whole times table without noticing 🙂

Here is another extremely helpful IOS app for learning multiplication — https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/multitables-learn-multiplication/id1143097798?mt=8. What I found interesting about this app was its unique and systematic way of teaching multiplication. It also has in-built quiz that lets you test your knowledge and at the same time have some fun. I recommend this app for anyone looking for help in multiplication. Great for children. I think they will love it!
