I love middle grade books. I can read them with my niece and nephew – or on my own. 🙂 We recently read ‘Horus and the Curse of Everlasting Regret’ by Hannah Voskuil. Have you read it? If not I definitely recommend getting it. A 2nd grade teacher at the local elementary school here has read it aloud to her class for a few years now and the kids love it. That’s how I discovered it – through my niece, which was really fun. She wanted to re-read it. Anyway, it’s a great middle grade book!
