I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year – I had a 9 mth old and a 2.5 year old at the time. Breast Cancer Care gave me a book for young children – but TBH it was too complicated. I wish I had read this a year ago as I think it would have helped my older child.
What a lovely post to include and think of.

Sherry Abbot, Executive Director of the CCTFA Foundation, who often contributes to FacingCancer.ca co-wrote a book on the power of creativity in healing. The art and stories in this post remind me of her book, Cancer and the Art of Healing. Art therapy is a fantastic outlet for both children and adults. 🙂
