My Miniature Library: Mini Books for DIY Book Enthusiasts
The My Miniature Library book is actually not a book but a case to hold the papers to make a bookshelf and miniature library of books as well as a fold out scene for display and play. Some of books are left blank so you can write your own stories. The others range from fairy tales to nature books.
Cut out the pages first. These are strips of paper easily cut with scissors.
Then fold the books, gluing the two sections together. The directions are very clear so this is pretty easy to do.
Cut out your cover. Glue the folded book to the cover.
Voila! You have a miniature book!
Arrange your miniature books on the DIY cardboard bookshelf. Put everything inside the hard cover box that when opened, becomes a library scene. See below.
Use this for pretend play or just a display in your room.
There are 30 tiny books to make. DIY crafter kids, I’m looking at you. I think this will be a hit. What do you think?
