Awesome Stacking Game for Preschoolers: Cheese Stack
Not only do kids get to stack, they can play several games, develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills plus learn the physics of balancing objects and practice cooperation in a game.
Balance the blocks for fun pretend play OR play a game with the blocks.
(My tester LOVED stacking so we never got to the game.)
But, if you want to play, my daughter and I tried the first cooperative game in which you start with the blue mouse and take turns stacking the cheese on top of his head.
The balancing is easier than you think since the cheese has grooved edges. But, it is still tricky for the preschool crowd and a fantastic way to teach this concept, right!?
There are two other game options for play — holding cheese balanced between the two mice or making an arch between them.
(And don’t you just love that these pieces in Cheese Stack are wooden?)
Think of all the communication skills kids can practice when playing Cheese Stack with a friend. (Or you.) There will be lots of opportunities to negotiate, imagine, and wonder!
This learning game is a great choice for preschoolers ages 3 and up. Buy It Here.
