1. Write a list of nouns on one side of the paper.

2. Then add verbs to all those things.  What are those things doing?

Grass grows

Trees whisper

Flowers bathe

Voila!

3. OR add adjectives in front of the nouns like this:

golden grass

lavender flowers

speedy ants

And you’ve written a poem!
