Affiliate Links Are your kids Harry Potter fans? Have you tried any of the Harry Potter games? These five favorites games of ours keep our HP love going strong. (Not to mention it hones our attention to detail.)

I must add that I LOVE that my kids still are fans even as teens and tweens! I don’t think they’ll ever grow out of Harry — and that’s fantastic news. The longevity of the story speaks highly to why it’s still a bestseller and beloved by kids and adults world wide, don’t you think? (See more of my reasons why everyone should read Harry Potter here and great fantasy books like Harry Potter here.)

1. Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit

This game is a good on-the-go choice. We play it both on trips and at home because it’s compact and fits easily in a small bag or backpack. The questions are a decent mix from moderate to challenging but be aware that this game is based on the MOVIES not the books. Unlike other trivia games, this game doesn’t offer multiple choice answers to questions so you’re own your own with the answers. You either know it or you don’t.

2. Harry Potter Clue

A student is missing from Hogwarts. The goal is to figure out WHO did it, WHAT spell or item they used and WHERE the student was attacked. New HP twists on the original game of Clue make this tons of fun and our newest favorite Harry Potter game. You’ll find secret passages, moving staircases, house points, Dark Cards, and lots more cool Hogwarts personalizations!

3. Harry Potter Chess

My eldest daughter loves this version of chess. It’s easy to figure out which pieces are which (unlike our LEGO chess set which confounds me.) Personally, I think it’s too expensive for what you get unless your die-hard Potter fan just must have this. (We paid $25 for ours but currently it’s $49 on Amazon.)

4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Trivia

We lucked out and found this Harry Potter game at a consignment store — which was an awesome steal. So if you want to find this game on the cheap, try a consignment store — they are our favorite places to find inexpensive games and puzzles.

My kids love this game more than me. (Maybe it’s my 40s old eyesight but the spaces are too small for me!)

The object of the game is to collect all the charms and to get into your house in one of the corners. It takes at least 45 minutes to play. (Also, another mom reason to not love this game. I’m more of a 20 minute game player.)

We all like how the question cards give multiple choice answers. If you don’t know, you can make a good guess to the answer and maybe get it correct. (And learn what the answer is!)

5. Harry Potter Playing Cards

Why not use fandom playing cards when you’re playing card games? These are the coolest! Or try this blue backed version of Harry Potter playing cards.

6. Top Trumps

I almost forgot to add this. My kids really enjoy comparing stats on the cards (highest number wins). This is a favorite to play with dad!
