Calling all teachers: H&R Block Dollars & Sense and WeAreTeachers wants your best lesson plans about personal finance — lessons that show your students how to increase their financial fitness.

Personal Finance Lesson Plan Contest

1. Submit your personal finance lesson plan at the WeAreTeachers website here by December 11, 2013.

2. A panel of teachers, teens and Dollars & Sense staffers will choose the ten finalists.

3. The winners will receive classroom grants to fund ongoing personal finance education in their classroom: $3,500 for the grand prize winner, $1,000 for the 2nd place winner, and $500 for the 3rd place winner. (Announced January 2, 1014.)

Any teacher that participates by submitting a lesson plan, downloading a lesson plan, visiting H&R Block on Pinterest or liking H&R Block on Facebook, will receive a special coupon code good for a $15 discount on tax preparation services at H&R Block.
