Halloween Storytelling with DIY Shadow Puppets

Tell scary or not-so-scary stories this Halloween using homemade shadow puppets. I saw a beautiful shadow puppet idea on Pinterest (that I can’t find again) which inspired our Halloween shadow puppet storytelling.

DIY Shadow Puppets

Supplies: thick cardstock (old granola bar boxes), tape, scissors, sticks, flashlight

Directions:
1. Use stencils or free draw Halloween-themed images for your story.

2. Cut out.
3. Tape a stick or straw to the shape.
4. Get a flashlight or two to shine on the wall.
5. Turn off the lights. Tell a story using your puppets. (Storytelling Tips HERE.)
