Backpacks For Super Hero Super Kids

And now for my better-late-than-never, back-to-school backpack post. (To go with my not-even-close-to-the-first day of school photos.)

Cough, cough.

Well, even if some moms (me!!) aren’t super moms, we know our kids like to pretend that they are superhero kids. Check out these adorable backpacks that would help: SuperME! Backpacks!

If only they came in grown-up sizes, –I would totally sport one, too! Then my friends would really make fun of me. Believe it or not, my backpack as purse style still hasn’t caught on. (Weird, I know!)

A top zippered pocket contains the cape for easy access so your superhero cape can pop out. Add on a SuperME badge and mask and you’re ready to pretend play — or dress up for Halloween! (Candy in my backpack, please?)

The size of the backpack is just-right for preschool-size kids.

Pretty darn imaginative, don’t you think?

Oh, and speaking of Halloween, you might want to browse this post on book character costumes.

Are you already ready for Halloween? You probably can guess how ready I am. :) Maybe by Thanksgiving.

It’s a busy time of year and you are working on your book. No worries that backpacks are on the back burner. I like the superhero backpacks but my 7 year old is too old for them. He wants Skylanders or MineCraft. Now I need to find a MineCraft lunch box. I told him they didn’t exist but now two boys in his class have them. (And all the little boys are envious!).
