A New Literacy-Based Craft Kit: Page’s Corner

Page’s Corner’s StoryCraft Box™ wants kids to activate their imaginations through books and build literacy skills. The kit arrives with a wonderfully unique picture book, two crafts with a literacy tie-in to the book, enrichment activities, and website links. .

We tried The Big Orange Splot Box and enjoyed the book and crafts. (And I couldn’t believe we’d never read this fantastic book before now!)

Then, because the story is about about self-expression and design, the two crafts included were:

1) decorate a birdhouse
2) collage a dream house. (My kids drew dream houses instead.)

StoryCraft Box™ Titles

We’d love to try out Gregory, The Terrible Eater. With my 3 year old and his 5 year old cousins we love to do activities together. This would be perfect to get the kids together, learn & have some fun! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

I’m impressed by the picture book titles! All such wonderful books! I’d love Miss Rumphius. I love that book but don’t own a copy. My kids all knew the book from school so we never read it at home. I love books about librarians too!

I love these storyboxes! What a fantastic idea. My 7 year old daughter loves to create books and art and doing it with friends would be even better. I’ve not read the big orange splot, but it looks like a lot of fun. Also love Come On, Rain!
