A Sorting Pie Math Game for Kids

After delving into comics for a week, I want to jump back into something different — a cool education toy that I’ve just discovered. It’s the Super Sorting Pie, a learning-based toy, which inspires creative play and learning. My kids loved, loved, loved it.

You can play a sorting game — sort by colors or sort by types of fruit — a great activity for kids, especially preschoolers.

But, there is so much more to play using this toy . . .

– Pie shop

– Restaurant

– Graphing

– Counting

– Picking up things with tweezers

– Speed tweezering

– Anything else you can think of

Oh, the fun. And, do you know that my nine-year old carried it around for an entire weekend – to grandma’s house and back? So, even though it says for preschool, this toy entices anyone, even big kids, to play and imagine.

My favorite fruit is strawberries, my husband and #2 son love blueberries, my #1 son love starfruit, and my girls prefer fruit smoothies that I make for them. :)

  2. Jenny Huthnance says

Bananas! We recently had a cyclone that wiped out all of our bananas and had to quit eating them for a while. Now we are able to get a few for special occasions – and my kids will eat it up more than icecream or any other treat because it’s such a precious commodity here.

Not sure I can pick a favorite fruit! It changes with the season! If I had to choose that I could only have one for the rest of my life I would say grapes/raisins. They seem to be the most year round fruit that I will eat almost every day if available!

Love this super sorting pie giveaway!

Fruit is one of my favorites therefore selecting one favorite is challenging! That being said, bananas are amazing and like Suzanne mentioned, they make a great phone! 😉
Will go like them on facebook now!!
