Science guru, Steve Spangler, is an icon around Denver. He’s from Colorado. He’s always on the Ellen DeGeneres show. He has a great blog and totally cool products.  And, now, his latest book totally proves he’s a real science hall of famer!

It’s called . . . drum roll . . . one of my favorite book titles of all time . . . Naked Eggs and Flying Potatoes.

Over at Bookmarkable, you can enter to win a copy. (That’s my book blog for Colorado Parent magazine.)

Now to elaborate just a bit.

We started with an easy experiment called Color Changing Milk. You’ll have to buy the book to get the specifics but here are some previous pictures that will make you want this book ASAP.

Sisters are working “together”.

Oooh.  Aaaah.  Colored milk! Does it remind you of yesterday’s post on writing in color?

In the interest of not boring with our other experiments, let me just say that this book and it’s experiments ROCK. We love it and think the photographs look good enough to eat! Especially the naked eggs.

Thank you, Steve Spangler, for sending me the book.

P.S. If you’re in Colorado, Steve will be at the Tattered Cover September 16.

Wow, you are quick with this one. Just got our copy in the mail. Agreed, very interesting science experiments, a good variety of easy and harder experiments.
