Guess what? I WON the Scholastic Blog Award! And I have YOU to thank.
Thank you so much for voting for Imagination Soup! I never thought in a million years I would win the Scholastic Award (– but I sure hoped that I would.) It’s still unreal. Here’s what the editor wrote me:
Congratulations! You are one of the winners of our 2010 Parent & Child
Blogger Awards contest! The contest featured six categories, and your blog
received the most votes in the Books & Reading category.
What happens next? We’ll be announcing the winning sites and profiling the
blogger behind each one on our Web site in August and in the
August/September issue of Parent & Child magazine.
Honestly, I feel like Sally Fields . . . You like me. You really like me. (Really?)
Wow.
Still accepting that, I say with heartfelt gratitude, thank you.
Love,
Melissa
P.S. Don’t worry — it’s okay to spread the word. I asked, just to be sure.
P.P.S. Thank you to Gretchen Garrison for my logo and website design and to Creativity for Rent for perfecting my website.
P.P.S. Writing classes have been updated. Go to classes to view.
