ENDED Music Giveaway The Final Funktier of Recess Monkey

Recess Monkey is the band.  The Final Funktier is the CD. Parental Warning: Todaaaay is the science fair” is very catchy. If you’re not singing that, you’ll be singing “My Brother is a Satellite . . . around he goes” when you least expect it– at the gym, in the car without your kids, during an important business meeting.  It’s kind of embarrassing. (Don’t say I didn’t warn you.)

THE FINAL FUNKTIER SONG LIST:

Lift Off, Moon Boots, Jet Pack, Science Fair, Ukulalien, My Brother is a Satellite, Beat-Box-A-Robot, Sunglasses, Space Elevator Music, The Galax Sea, Booster Seat, How Do You Build a Robot?, Constellation Conga, Black Hole in My Room, One Tiny Light.

Recess Monkey is made up of three Seattle teacher dudes.  Their songs will make you want to shake your spaceship!

You want this one don’t you? Comment below to enter to win. I’ll randomly select one winner to receive a copy of Recess Monkey’s upcoming CD, The Final Funktier. Contest ends June 5, 2010, midnight E.S.T.  Good luck!

Sounds like a fun and engaging CD. I know my students would love it as well as my own boys.

  2. delaine says:

You go guys! I let my Kindergarten class choose the music for rest time – sounds like a CD they would choose frequently! I don’t imagine they’ll rest much.

  3. Hallie Doyle says:

My boys are off to more “cool” music like this…thanks! Hallie

  4. Ooh yay! I didn’t know they had a new cd. We saw them do a show last summer. Besides the great music, they seem like really nice guys. After the show they stood around answering kids’ questions, and the drummer even approached my son who was having last minute nervous doubts about meeting them. He knelt down to my son’s eye level and chatted with him about music. It’s obvious they really “get” kids, and enjoy what they’re doing. Thanks!

Sounds kinda like a kiddier version of Barenaked Ladies – except I can mention the name of the band in the classroom without getting called down to the office! Sign me up!
