ENDED Win a solar racing car

ENDED Win a solar racing car

06 Jan | 19 Comments »

Congratulations to Triffany!  Random.org selected you as the winner.

I love this.  Err, rather, my kids love this and if they let me play, too, I wish it were mine.

Again, Steve Spangler Science offers the best science activities to an Imagination Soup reader – a Super Solar Racing Car!  Thanks!

The kit lets you build the car yourself, then it’s great fun to watch how the sun makes the car zoom while it stops in the shade.  My kids observed things like  “it doesn’t work with lamps” and “the less sun, the slower it goes.”  Scientists!!

Subscribers may enter to win this cool solar car.  Comment below and tell me if you subscribe by email or reader, your email and you’ll be entered to win.  Contest runs through January 10, 2010.  Good luck!

This looks SO cool! Would love to build it with my son and use it to teach him about solar power. We just read a book about solar power and this would be a great tool to show him how it works in ‘real life’!

Now that my class is stuck inside for indoor recess with the cold and snow, this would make a welcome addition for something they could “quietly” work on! Thanks!
