ENDED Win the Diary of a Worm and Insta-Worms
03 Dec | 11 Comments »Congratulations to Kari! Random.org picked you as the winner!
Steve Spangler Science of Colorado sent me the Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin kit which included an Insta-Worms experiment. Loved, loved, loved it.
First, I’m a huge Doreen Cronin fan. She’s the author of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type. The Diary of a Worm is exactly what it says — a diary (good for showing kids how to write a diary) and the day to day life of a worm. For example,
“May 8 Had the worst nightmare last night — giant birds playing hopscotch. Mom says I have to stop eating so much garbage right before I go to bed.”
Paired with the ooey, gooey Insta-Worms, this book kit rocks! Once we finished the book, we made worms, more worms, worm balls, worm blobs. It was addictive, fun and entertaining.

The last time I did anything in paper/pen type diary was when I was pregnant with my son 5-6 years ago.
I subscribed.

Thanks for having these giveaways! And I can’t remember the last time I’ve written in a diary. Maybe many, many moons ago when I was a kid. And yes, I’ve subscribed to this blog. Thanks, again!
This would be a hit in our house…we just listened to the audio book from the library. Thanks!
I love that you are sharing all kinds of books, books to help you and your child dream, books to help you write, books to help you explore, books to help you think. Imagination soup is making a huge and important contribution.
Thank you for your wonderful site. I wrote in my “diary,” or journal, yesterday…try to do it daily, and have since I was 10 years old, I think.
I have all of my journals since 4th grade. They are so much fun to look back on. The last time I wrote in one was when I was a camp counselor at a girls summer camp.
My mom is keeping two journals. One is just for me, and the other for my sister. We are to get them when she passes away.
Kari, Email me your address! You won the Diary of a Worm Kit!!

Congrats,

Last time I wrote in an actual diary was over 11 years ago before I was married. I’ve always wanted to start again and write down the things my kids do, but haven’t taken the time. Steve Spangler Science makes some great science products. Thanks for the fun book giveaway.
I never made it a regular practice to write in a diary, but I tend to jot in a journal when I’m overwhelmed, angry or frustrated in order to help get it out of my system. I just did that last weekend!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Congratulations, Kari. Random.org picked you as the winner. I’ll email you for your address.
Thanks to you all for entering. I have two more Steve Spangler prizes to post this week so make sure you try for those, too.
